This is the hottest fire I have ever experienced.
when my youngest son was turning 13 two men from church who's boys were also turning 13 and my son and I all went to camp in the absolute dead of winter to tell our boys that they were men.
It was 12 degrees outside that Friday nite @ camp.
We slept by this fire in Garrett Hall...the six of us.
It kept us warm.
When we woke up Sat to a fresh coating of snow we departed the warmth of Garrett Hall to Hawk Mountain to hike up the icey rocks.
Everytime the boys were given a choice of the easier road or the narrow more difficult road they took the narrow road.
We had to crawl over the ice strewn boulders and face the wind of the wind of the mountain.
Later that nite, at Garrett Hall we cooked steak and potatoes and watched Dances with Wolves
an experience we will all never forget
Camp is an experience
Camp is special...but why?
1. People pray about camp all the time!
2. Whenever people are at camp they are very Christ-like
Do those two things about work and school
(pray and be Christ-like)
think about this....why do you want other people to know God
when you figure that out----go tell them about Him
